1. Assess the situation first
Before deciding on a course of action, work out:
- How far into the cycle are you? Week 2 vs. week 10 have very different calculus.
- How long until restock? 3 days vs. 3 weeks require different approaches.
- What is the compound? Missing a few doses of BPC-157 is very different from interrupting a semaglutide taper.
- What are your goals? Body composition protocols with momentum are worth bridging; exploratory first cycles might be fine to pause.
2. Your three options
| Option | When to choose | How to do it |
|---|---|---|
| Bridge at reduced dose | Restock in 5–10 days; you're deep in cycle (week 6+); compound has significant momentum | Reduce dose 40–50% to extend the vial while you wait for restock. Less optimal than full dose but maintains partial signalling. |
| Planned pause | Restock in 1–3 weeks; you're mid-cycle; compound can tolerate interruption | Stop cleanly. Resume at same dose when restocked. Expect 1–2 week reset period. See the adjusting protocol guide. |
| End the cycle early | Restock more than 4 weeks away; you're less than halfway through; goal was exploratory | Stop the cycle. Assess results from what was completed. Plan next cycle with adequate supply. |
3. By compound type
BPC-157 / TB-500 (healing protocols)
Short interruptions (under 2 weeks) have limited impact — the healing process initiated continues. Bridge at reduced dose or pause. Don't stress about this one.
GH secretagogues (CJC, Ipa, GHRP)
GH pulse patterns reset within a few days of stopping. A 1–2 week pause will require 1–2 weeks of re-establishment once you restart. Bridge at 50% dose if mid-cycle and close to restock.
Semaglutide / tirzepatide (weekly injection)
These have ~7-day half-lives — missing one injection delays the next by 1 week but doesn't abruptly end the effect. You have flexibility. Order immediately on running low.
Cognitive peptides (Semax, Selank)
No hormonal accumulation — effects are not particularly sustained past the half-life. A pause is simply a pause; restart at full dose.
4. Reordering quickly
To avoid running out mid-cycle:
- Calculate total dose requirements before starting. Use the reconstitution calculator to work out how many vials you need for your full cycle.
- Order a small buffer — one extra vial for cycles under 8 weeks; two for longer cycles.
- Reorder when you reach the halfway point of your last vial, not when you run out.
- Capital Peptides orders typically ship within 1–2 business days. If you're 5+ days from the end of your last vial, you can reorder in time without interruption.
